Do I need a pram fan for abroad holiday?

Going to Ibiza next weekend on our first family holiday with 8 month old DS. Do I need a pram fan for him? If so, does anyone have any recommendations? Don't want to spend a fortune because I doubt I'll get much use out of it here at home.

No, just sunscreen and a really good pushchair hood. Or one of those net sun covers that goes over the pushchair

I'd get an umbrella stroller. Something like a zeta as that has a big hood. Buy a separate sun shade. You can find these pre-loved on eBay etc.
Depending on your current pram, you may find you use the stroller much more on your return.

No!

I had a Snoozeshade which goes over the pushchair to block out the sun and sort of make it dark for napping!

He loves nosing about in his pram so ideally want something where he can still see what's going on. Does anyone know if the parasols that clip onto the pram are any good?

If it's windy a sun parasol will blow about all over the place and you'll have to adjust it every time you change direction if walking. Depending on the direction of the sun it may need to stick out to the side of the pram to protect baby which means it will get in other peoples way. I gave up on mine and got the Snoozeshade (the Aldi version of it)!
