Just looking for some ideas.

2 Dcs. Our downstairs needs to be retiled and revarnished. Cats are going into the cattery. DH is staying home to supervise. I want to take the Dcs away to get us all out the way.

Cheap and cheerful very welcome!!

I don't get away much so am grateful for ideas to get me started. :)

Thanks!

Marscapone · 15/06/2022 14:32

I do like the IOW, thanks, although only done day trips there. Relatively cheap on the foot ferries..... hmmm..... should look at some of the holiday camping type places..

thanks!

Relatives have recently used Green Hill Farm Holiday Village at Landford and really liked it. It has activities for children. Lodges, caravans or bring your own tent apparently.

Mill Rythe on Hayling Island

I was wondering about Hayling Island. A colleague had to go for work and she said it was lovely.

Lots of lovely research to do this week thank you everyone. :)

Another vote for the Isle of Wight. It feels like a proper adventure for the kids.

A ferry of any sort would definitely feel like a 'real holiday'. :)
