I started work in Feb. I am now looking for another job. I am thinking of not declaring this job to potential new employer. I have another job and have had this job a number of years ( both part time) ..I

Won’t they see from your P45? I’d be worried they’d find out and I’d be let go forward deception.
Id be honest, if the job isn’t a good fit for you there’s no shame on leaving it for one that is.

Will the run any background checks through credit check companies
my organisation use Expedia so we can see employment history vs what’s been declared

it’s a red flag when something comes up and we were not told about it

I didn't know employment history came up on a credit check. I just feel it looks bad to leave so soon.

I have 2 jobs so was going to use my other job as a reference

In my work we have to do a declaration of interest every year and have to disclose any other work interests. Public sector! It’s about being transparent and above board.

I've done this when I've had a boss I'd rather not know I'm job hunting.
I've usually got 3 employments on the go at any time and so just ask one of my nicer bosses for a ref.

I'm only going for very small employers though, and so I doubt they do very through checks.
