Price rises in the shops - what are you seeing?

What items have you seen go up in the shops? I went to my co-op to buy milk yesterday. The regular kind was £1.55 (same as always, I think?) but organic had gone up to £2.55 😧😧😧(was £1.85 a few weeks ago)!! Also a bag of three paprikas was £1.60, has always been £1 for the last few years. (I’m in Central London if that matters).

Non-food: internet was £25 and has gone up to £28 since the pandemic (under introductory contract) and now will be £38 when introductory contract ends.

I’m a nurse and won’t get an increment this year, plus our pay rise is meant to be published but they’re saying it’ll be 3%. I’m pregnant with baby number two and feeling panicked often on how we are going to make this work. We are lucky to have two incomes, I don’t know how others will survive. Anyone else in a similar situation?

Also in the EU and noticing prices going up. I’m off to lidl for the first time in ages.

i know it’s particularly impacted by the situation in Ukraine but basics value range sunflower oil is currently €5,49 for a litre in our local shop, rather than the usual 1-2€.

Lurpak spreadable 500g -has been £3.25 for donkeys and now it's £5. £5!!

Came on to say to say Lurpack.

Soreen bars. They used to be £1.45, but at least one flavour would be on offer for £1. The last few weeks they've been £1.85, no offers.

Pedigree dog biscuits have been £4.99 in Home Bargains forever ( Tesco, around £5.50) now £6.99 in H&B and a whopping £7.00 in Tesco.

We were paying £26 month for Virgin broadband but our discount ended so the new cost was £44 monthly. I phoned them and got it down to £24 for an 18 month deal - delighted!

Shop prices are ridiculous, I have certain price points for things eg Pringles for £1, now £1.65. Everything has gone up. We're doing more shopping at Aldi, also Amazon often has good offers on household and cleaning items, I got 45 toilet rolls for £9 last week from there.

Meat and fish generally huge spike. 2 pack salmon fillet in Aldi used to be in my standard shop at about 2.95 now it's close to 4 so that's salmon off the menu.
Chicken breast 3 pack similar was around 3,20 now can be anywhere between 3.50-6.
Aldi butter from 1.45 to 1.75.
Also for me is reduced quality and taste of a lot of fruit and veg either it's being stored too long or they are forcing it on too much. Had a pack of peppers all mouldy inside once cut into and some taste the difference tomatoes that did taste different but not in a good way they tasted of metal and were disgusting couldn't even use them in cooking.
Also lots of gaps in shelves and the local Sainsburys pasta aisle is now a pasta shelf/maybe 2 shelves.
Similar the cheese aisle is now about 3 sections of shelf.

The only thing I’ve noticed is Ribena in Sainsburys was £2.50 and had a price lock, they’ve now dropped that and put it up to £2.75. It’s still £2.50 in Tesco though so I’ll just get it from there.

iys often on special with club card at Tesco too. I only buy it on special. I
had a few bottles so stopped buying it, kind of regretting that now, but I only have so much storage.

That's massive.
