Naming a new business

I’m (hopefully) setting up as a painter and decorator at the end on my collage course and need a name. Can I ask your thoughts on a name?

I was thinking about using just my name, it’s very plain and reasonably common, so I thought very neutral. Think ‘Jane Smith’.

But is that too plain?

I guess I need it to convey that I’m a one women business, racing towards my mid 40’s, non threatening but will do a good job.

I would just go with your name. So for instance 'Jame Smith Decorating'. It's simple and to the point. Good luck with the new business!
