It's a new week. What are your plans

As the title basically, what is everyone up to this week?

I have no school run to do today as DD and DS2 stayed at their dad's last night, and he picks them up on a Monday anyway. DS1 doesn't go to his dad's so I'm up with him but he makes his own way to school and back.

I do have CBT today with my lovely therapist, so I've not put makeup on as there's a chance I'll cry.

Tomorrow I have physio which will hopefully help with my movement. I'm disabled and struggle to walk.

Then the DC have various after school clubs this week that I've to plan around. Hockey, first aid, athletics, tennis, piano.

So what are your plans? Anything more exciting than my boring life?

Feels like a stressful week for me.

Working extra hours today (normally off on a Monday). But also have a decorator arrving this morning. Plumber coming tomorrow as I suspect our shower is leaking (horrible damp patch appearing on the hall ceiling!)

Then working Wednesday, Thurs, Fri as normal. Decorator will be here all week. Ds has various after school clubs, and I do all the school runs and organisation for all that as dh works longer hours.

Oh and I agreed to a night out tonight with an old school friend - but I'm exhausted!

@MissyB1 oh no! Hopefully it all goes smoothly and is much less stressful than yyou think

Chairing School Appeals.
Seeing Diana Ross on Wednesday evening!!

NeedAHoll · 13/06/2022 13:02

Honestly just trying to get through a day at a time here. If I think about all my responsibilities during the week I’ll stress out so I’m trying to knock a day down at a time!

HerRoyalHappiness · 13/06/2022 13:05

@Raera enjoy Diana Ross!
@NeedAHoll sometimes a day at a time is all we can do.

Spending all our remaining money on petrol to get to work 😭. DS has army cadets tonight and I have gun dog training with our dog on Wednesday. That’s it ☹️.

ScarlettOHaraHamiltonKennedyButler · 13/06/2022 13:09

Boring, boring, boring. DH is recovering from some surgery so I get to do everything as he can hardly walk and can't drive so school run, clubs, dog walks, housework, shopping - you name it, all on me this week. Working full time too.

Have whole new level of respect for those who do it all alone every week!

HerRoyalHappiness · 13/06/2022 15:16

@LadyCatStark oh gosh the cost of everything rising is a nightmare.

@ScarlettOHaraHamiltonKennedyButler oh no! I hope your DH makes a swift recovery.

First week on maternity leave I'm doing tons of washing today and having a big rest, tomorrow I'll finish the washing that's built up and a couple of other bits and then rest of the week I'll be sorting babies stuff <3

DreamingForYou · 13/06/2022 16:23

I need to blitz my children's bedroom. So I'll be doing that tomorrow. Then cleaning out the fridge/freezer and kitchen cupboards on Wednesday.

My children do activities after school on Mondays and Tuesdays, so its all about ferrying them around. Thursday supposed to be meeting a friend for exercise and Friday is a blood test at the local hospital, plus need to do a click and collect. Friday is the start of my working weekend. Boo.
