Hotels for Commonwealth Games?

Hello

We are planning to go to the Commonwealth Games - the athletics and the cricket but I have not sorted any hotels/ air bnb out yet. Does anyone have any nice suggestions for somewhere (relatively) quiet?

Many thanks

I had a look for a hotel as have cricket one day, diving the next. The most reasonable priced room was only 20 minutes from my house, over an hour from the venue, so we're staying at home and having a late night and getting up early!!

Good luck with that. DP tried to book a place for him and his DS a few months ago. Everywhere is either booked, or the trash that's left is significantly overpriced.

Everything’s booked in the city itself, you’ll need to look further afield.

Depending on how far you are coming from and how close you want to be but the ?travel lodge ?premier inn in Worcester is about an hour drive/train away and kind of forms part of the cricket ground in Worcester just if you are cricket fans it might appeal?

Well it'll depend on dates and the location.

Tbh I could Google it but the dates you go will not be full time. Also number of people rooms etc.

Cricket is edgebaston?

I've been to birmingham quite a bit lately as fa is a swimmer and he took part in a test event.

So I could have a look at accommodation I looked at if I have some dates as searches are still on my booking.com app
