Long shot but has anyone ever had buccal fat removal done?

If so how did it go?

I feel into a rabbit hole about the so-called instagram face and why influencers and various celebs all sort of look similar. One thing they all seem to have are excellent cheek bones - turns out this is the result of BFR which I hadn't ever considered even a thing?
Has anyone done this and it went well?

I imagine removing the buccal fat compartments could lead to aging quicker down the line as they would provide some support and volume to the face. If they were gone the face could be left looking hollow. I suppose it could lead to a slimmer face but in a way you might regret later on.

I just saw a video on Facebook about this and the plastic surgeon was warning about exactly what the previous poster described. Women have it in their 20s/30s but end up looking old before their time as we all lose volume in our faces as we age. For people who have had that procedure there is little volume to lose so they end up stuffing fillers in their face to reverse it.

Yes that's what I suspected too - the premature ageing of the face. Perhaps I'll learn to love my rounder face!
