Do you take any notice of the critics when deciding whether to see a film/play?

I'm going to see the new Jurassic dinosaur film and according to the Standard it's 4/5 stars and great blah blah but according to The Times it's 1/5, rubbish blah blah.

Obviously everyone's opinion is subjective and those 2 critics disagree, so I was wondering if anyone actually bases their decision to go and watch something on whether someone else, they don't know, liked it

Yes I do, definately. If a film gets loads of bad reviews, slated for poor acting and/or a crap storyline, then I'm not paying my money and wasting my precious time sitting through it at the cinema. If a film gets rave reviews then I'm more likely to go and see it.

No. I never pay attention to reviews. The bits other folk slate might be the bits I like! Theres no one size fits all.
I'll definitely be seeing the new Jurassic World film, been invested in the films since the 1990s and want to see the last one on the big screen as I have with all the others

Not any more no

If I want to see it I'll go and see it and make my own mind up

Most times I tend to have really enjoyed my chosen film
