Any experience of an Alexa just losing the plot ?

We have an echo show in the kitchen
Last week one night , gone 11 pm. Dh, I and dd all upstairs in bedrooms, dog in kitchen. Alexa suddenly starts playing loud rock music from Spotify . Dh went downstairs, told her to stop, all good. 10 minutes later happens again. At that point we unplugged her for the night ( to think about the consequences of her actions)
All good then just now, I'm alone in kitchen, very quiet, suddenly she plays rock music from Spotify again, I tell her to stop, ten minutes later same again . Turned her off and on again and ten minutes later she says " sorry I didn't understand the question" but it had been all quiet before.
The weird thing is that on my history on the app, the only events you can see are people saying Alexa stop, in relation to the event, but not the event itself.
Bizarre and I need an answer!
No one else in house
No near neighbours.
Dog not that tech savvy .

Crying laughing here, this has all the hallmarks of a Mumsnet classics thread.

My Alexa is behaving, but I once had a car where the radio turned itself on at full volume at random times when it was parked and locked.

Our Google thingy announced that she liked Vitamin D earlier. Completely random Confused

Our DC each have an Alexa in their rooms. A couple of days ago, the Alexa in my DD’s room just randomly announced. ‘You have 2 Amazon parcels today, including LED lights’. Annoyingly, the lights were planned as a present for DD’s birthday. I had no idea that Alexa reported on Amazon parcels and even more surprised that it stated it’s contents.
