Trans guide - anyone know if this is allowed?

DD has come home with a story about a friend who attends guides and has a trans-boy in her group who she has a crush on.

Im just curious really- how do the guides deal with this? I know their policy is to include trans girls and women but I don’t know what the official line about trans boys is.

I believe there was backlash when they said that transboys (who are biologically and legally girls) would be asked to leave, so they are now allowed to stay as long as they wish.

A trans boy is biologically female.

Would you not prefer a trans boy being with the girls rather than a trans girl who is biologically male?

I believe it's about how you identify (including for guide leaders), rather than biological sex. Other than trans boys. And it's been that way for a while now, with leaders unable to inform parents about what that means on camp.
