Hi all
looking for recommendations for family friendly accommodation - hotel or air B&B in Nice France for DH 40th birthday later this year. Is Nice a good place to visit? DCs are 7 and 5.

or if you have any other recommendations of good places to try?

we love La Rochelle but have been there twice already. We have also stayed in Bordeaux for a week.

thanks!

Nice is lovely, but if you're after a beach holiday be aware that Nice beach is all pebbles.

When are you going? Nice in July/August is a disaster, really busy, traffic's a nightmare, but it's much quieter in September/October and still nice and warm.

We will be travelling in September. Thanks

I loved Nice, perfect mix of Cosmopolitan and historic. Fab area in the centre with fountain for children to play. Easy to visit Antibe, not far by train.
