Recommendation for hotel in Liverpool

I’m looking for some advice about hotels in Liverpool.

We are going to Anfield for a concert but want to spend an extra day in Liverpool to visit the cavern club and other Beatles places. We are looking for something like a premier inn for a few nights. We would need a hotel with parking.

Would we be able to walk to Anfield?

Any advice would be great!

There are quite a few Premier Inns around Liverpool!

We stayed in the Novotel and got the bus to Anfield from just down the road.

I stayed in a Z hotel in Liverpool. It had parking up the road from the hotel which they sent me the details for. I was dubious as it was cheap but it was fab would definitely stay again as it was really central, clean and staff were helpful

We stayed in the Premier Inn on the Albert Dock. Was fabulous. Our room was huge and we had a great view of the Liver Building. Lots of Beatles stuff close by.

There is no parking at the hotel but we used the Q Park nearby and got a discount.

Great info so far, thanks. So if we stayed in the Albert Dock, that’s quite central to the Beatles stuff? I’m not sure how to get back there late at night after a concert at Anfield. Could we walk? Would there be buses? Or could we drive back if we park at Anfield?

I stayed in Hotel Indigo in Liverpool and it was gorgeous. The restaurant is a Marco Pierre White too.

If you just want somewhere to sleep and wash, Z Hotels are great.

Google maps says it's an hour to walk from the Albert Dock to Anfield. There are buses from close by out to Anfield but not sure how late your gig is for getting a bus back.

The Beatles Story Museum is virtually right by the Premier Inn on Albert Dock and the statue of them is a few minutes walk away.
