Small (as in physical size) gifts for a 16 yo boy

We are going to be abroad when my DS turns 16 so I need some small gift ideas for him that aren't going to take up much space in my suitcase. He is getting some airpods as his main gift which I am going to give him before we leave so he can use them on the aeroplane but still want to give him some stuff to open on his actual birthday.

Can't be food/drink either. Am a bit stumped so would appreciate any ideas 🙂

a voucher or subscription to something e.g. magazine/club that he’ll get when he gets home
tickets to a gig or something he’d enjoy

gift card.....cinema and starbucks seem to be popular with my friend's teens.

Probably around £50 altogether but would like 2 or 3 gifts for that. Will think about subscriptions 🙂

Bamboo tee shirt - they are SO soft.
You could get him to try some aftershaves for fun at Duty Free then sneakily buy the one he likes most.

A fancy airpod case is another natural pairing.

I'm all for subscriptions or voucers idea! There are video editing programs or photo editors that may be useful or fun for him, or think tickets or a season pass somewhere, like amusement parks maybe?
