I need a trolley for the beach! Any recommendations?

We're lucky to live near some lovely beaches, one is probably about a 15 min walk away. I've tried to cut down on the amount of stuff I take, but I still have a fairly big bag with towels, sun cream, buckets and spades, a small pop up beach tent, plus a cool bag for lunch and drinks. We go a lot just the 3 of us when dh is working, but I can't carry it all and keep hold of my youngest's hand.

Any recommendations for a trolley of some kind for the beach? I don't need a huge one, I've seen some on Amazon that are £80+ and could fit 2 toddlers in, I don't need anything that big! We don't even have her old pushchair any more to use. But it would be a lot easier to pull it all than carry it!

On holidays in Europe, all the locals used the pull along shopping trolleys. I always associated them with older people, but young and old used them for their shopping and to lug everything they needed for a day at the beach.

I used to have a IKEA trolley bag for this purpose. It was good as I could shove body boards, spades etc between the bag and the frame secured with bungees.

By the DC also had to to carry a little something- a bucket, and they had poncho towels that they could wear.

@Justmuddlingalong that's genius. That's exactly what I need!

@ShaunaTheSheep I've never seen the IKEA trolley/bags. I'll google them now!

If you can find one secondhand, I used my all terrain 3 wheeler pushchair for this until recently. It had pneumatic tyres and could cope with loads of stuff, go over sand no problem and pushing is easier than pulling a trolley.

I got a new car a few months ago, and it wouldn't fit in it, so I had to buy two of these from decathlon as a chair is non negotiable -

I got a couple of mesh squares with rubber corners from amazon that are made for this sort of chair that fit on the legs, so they don't sink. I have a couple of sturdy bags for me to carry, a backpack and the children carry the spades as they are annoying to fit in bags. I also got space saving hammam towels, and a lightweight picnic blanket. We also do little and often so we don't take every beach toy to the beach, or a massive picnic.

Although this looks good too, it has a built in seat!
