These ones… and if you do would you mind sharing a pic of how you display them? 😊

DD1 does! I'm at work so no pic, but she has them in a vase on her windowsill.

youngestisapsycho · 09/06/2022 12:18

I’m just finishing making them… just looking for ideas 😊

I think a straight, thinner vase is needed to hold them upright... they are heavier then a real flower!

This looks exciting!
i thought you meant the little lego flowers you get with some kits

TheHorrorOfIt · 09/06/2022 12:51

Mine are in my office (and I am at home) but they are in a jug; sort of milk jug size with straight sides. I agree they are heavier and look best clustered together hence the straight sides; I do occasionally just put a couple in a jar though

I love fiddling on with them and am looking at the succulent set also!

ChairP0se9to5 · 09/06/2022 12:51

My daughter has them. Hold on

Afolnerd · 09/06/2022 12:55

I built a Lego vase to put them in.
I have added in the other smaller flower sets as well.

I think this is an old mayonnaise jar

Here's mine in the downstairs loo.

The vase is a glass specimen jar with straight sides. I removed a few of the stem pieces from some of them to make them shorter.

I got the lego bonsai and now contemplating getting the lego orchid 🤔

Well I never knew Lego did flowers! I am off to look right now...

BarbaraofSeville · 09/06/2022 13:04

I like the look of these, but don't they end up collecting dust?

Any time we've ever had display lego, it's ended up covered in greasy dust and life is definitely too short to clean lego.

Sqeebling · 09/06/2022 13:05

Greasy dust ?! That's weird. We only get grease on items in the kitchen never any other room

PatriciaHolm · 09/06/2022 13:05

Mine! I have that set plus the sunflowers in the same vase. I can't get the leaves to stay upright as in the box pic though!

Love the lego vase idea though.

I've never seen thsse.
Now I want them all.

Whatsnewpussyhat · 09/06/2022 13:08

They look best in a vase with a neck that is narrower than the base so they can fan out properly. Some are very fragile once built and bits fall off easily.

I personally hate the colour of the roses and wish they had swapped one out for another orange flower.
I also bought the sunflowers and red roses from lego website which bulk it out nicely too.

Rocketpants50 · 09/06/2022 13:09

My teen daughter has them in a thin tall vase filled with little glass balls. Works well, been upright since Xmas!

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 09/06/2022 13:11

The bonsai tree is elsewhere. I have the Succulents to build

If you've got an opaque vase then wouldn't oasis type stuff - the same sort as people use for arranging artificial flowers, not sure if it's different to the stuff for live ones, sort of hard foam - be helpful?

Sqeebling · 09/06/2022 13:15

I love them all they're such a decent size as well

I'm going to treat myself to the orchids I think

Same here!

I have the orchid (yet to build) and the sunflowers.

You can get blue transparent Lego bricks that make good water.

I've been in a Lego store when a staff member was doing the cleaning. The pros use a bog standard duster Grin

MartinReubyUnsungHero · 09/06/2022 13:36

As in a feather duster but synthetic.

youngestisapsycho · 09/06/2022 13:39

Thanks for all your pics! some great displays 😁
