Fair Face Painting price for kids parties

Hi all,
I am a face Painter based in the North West... I have been rebuilding my business post covid but with the way things are I know the economic climate for everyone is now different and I am finding I get less responses to my quotes than previously... I obviously have basic costs I have to meet per hour but i wanted to get an idea of what people consider a fair price now for a Face Painter per hour for a kids party or day out? I see people charging rates anywhere from £40 up to £90 per hour... I am more toward the lower end of this scale and have always felt my prices are fair... pre-covid I would usually work up to 6 parties a weekend from Friday to Sunday averaging at 2 hours each. I have been doing this a long time and I don't agree with people charging huge rates just because they think they can especially for kids parties when the average person doesn't have the budget that a corporate event or festival does. I am looking to re-consider my prices per hour within reason to meet the current situation so that I can continue working and providing a good service but I'd like to get a better idea directly of what is considered a good price to you all... cheers !
