Tonight's 10pm news on ITV

At 10.03pm I put ITV on expecting to see the news. It's a programme about cats and a speight of cat killings.

I'm not suggesting that isn't horrific or newsworthy, but I'd expect at that time of evening to see the headlines.

I just switched over to ITV HD and the headline news IS on.

Am I missing something? Have ITV put the wrong programme on by mistake? What are others able to see?

I thought the cat programme was at 9.

No idea but it was definitely still on ITV a few minutes ago, until I changed channel to ITV HD at 10.06pm. Don't know if it's still on on ITV as as it may have overrun.

I'm 100% certain I wasn't watching on ITV+1.
