Both my DC have a couple of warts on their fingers. Aged 10 and 13.

is this common?
One is a nail biter, one isn’t!
Im fairly sure i had one or 2 as a child..

Salactyl Paint is what you need.

They’re pretty common.

Sorcha69 · 07/06/2022 21:56

My dd had them...they just disappeared....

PicniKTime · 07/06/2022 22:03

I am hoping they disappear. But my eldest is particularly a bit embarrassed by them.

This is a bit out there but I had warts on my fingers when I was at school my Nan told me to rub it with some raw beef, bury the meat in the garden and don’t tell anyone where I buried it. I did what she said and the warts disappeared. Old wives tale, but it worked.

As a child, tried all the wart removal stuff and couldn't get rid of them. My mum told me to forget about/ignore them for a week and they'd disappear... she was right, never had them again😁

I had quite a few warts on my hands as a child. My health was under par too (I had a lot of chest infections),

Isn’t there a link between warts and low immune system?

I had warts frozen off but it didn’t keep them at bay. They gradually disappeared over a few years until I was left with only 1.

Thanks. Both DC are rarely ill really. So I think their immune system generally is ok.
