...from PGA Tour to play LIV Golf

Well I was briefly excited 🤣

OP posts:

I usually like jokes and I usually like grumpy old people with cats - but not these ones right now.

This thread needs a trigger warning. Angry

JustTheOneSwan · 07/06/2022 12:20

Dick😁
I was away clicking wondering wtf lbc were doing.

Neverendingdust · 07/06/2022 12:22

The immediacy of the high and low I just experienced was brutal. 🤢

My initial reaction was Good, followed by significant surprise that Johnson would put the interests of anyone else (even if in this case we’re only talking about the Tory Party Sewer here) above his own. Initial reaction followed by a sense of worry that the whoever is elected as new leader will be able to convince the public that “the next few years Will Be Different” to the preceding Tory decade of Brexit, Austerity, and general shit. So - Relief. Long live Al Johnson!

BlessedBeTheFruitCake · 07/06/2022 12:24

Ah, damn it 😔

viques · 07/06/2022 12:25

Some of us have nervous dispositions , don’t be so mean!

theworldhas · 07/06/2022 12:29

@PerkingFaintly
Though I should have realised from the silence, cos the sound of Thatcher resigning echoed widely while people whooped and cheered and ran about.

Difference is that Thatcherism was born of conviction and brought about massive changes, for good or bad. All Al Johnson has given us is a Brexit he himself doesn’t even believe in. He’s just a shit “entertainer”, an opportunist with zero beliefs or conscience. He’s not worth the effort of a cheer or a boo.

amillionrosepetals · 07/06/2022 12:32

😂😂😂

donquixotedelamancha · 07/06/2022 12:35

Pointless thread and not funny

I thought it was quite amusing, OP, but since Samarie123 has spoken I must be mistaken. Perhaps it was just indigestion because people can't possibly have different senses of humour.

WaitroseWoman · 07/06/2022 12:35

Unfortunately this has appeared in Trending now, so more hopes are going to be raised and dashed.

Clickbait. For MNHQ too.

MintyMoocow · 07/06/2022 12:36

Well him staying is the best chance of getting rid of the Tories at some point I suppose.
it is SO FUCKING INSULTING, the way he keeps going on about, getting on with the important stuff, as if it’s only the media that care about his duplicity and arrogance, as if we are all stupid.

I don’t hate many people but I am very close with him! Wanker!

HollowTalk · 07/06/2022 12:36

My heart leapt then!

AlternativePerspective · 07/06/2022 12:38

Don’t really think that’s funny, and is pure click bate.

MagnoliaTaint · 07/06/2022 12:41

Fucksake!

Cailin66 · 07/06/2022 12:44

That OP was outstanding. You really got me. I nearly shouted it out to a whole work section

54isanopendoor · 07/06/2022 12:49

I said to my son last night that if he lost the vote I'd raise a glass of something.
You have just saved me from lunchtime drinking!
Seriously though - its astonishing how relieved I'd be that my country was not represented by such a moral vaccuum any more though

MappyDappy · 07/06/2022 12:49

Don't do that, a lot of us want the man gone for real.

Blossomtoes · 07/06/2022 12:51

Damn you. You really got me!

54isanopendoor · 07/06/2022 12:53

and personally I'd also be happy - possibly because my Mother just died of Ovarian cancer not picked up during the last Covid lockdown whilst that bastard partied & laughed & just yesterday said he'd 'do it again' & my disabled children & I just got reassessed & our benefits are about to be cut (strangely enough, our health conditions remain but really who cares under Johnson's Tory Party?)

I shouldn't have clicked. I'm off for a cup of tea now.

Porcupineintherough · 07/06/2022 12:56

That was unkind.

Pavlova31 · 07/06/2022 12:56

Title needs a trigger warning.
In light of current times not that funny.

dizzydizzydizzy · 07/06/2022 12:56

GrinGrinGrin

user1471457751 · 07/06/2022 12:59

That's really not funny. He's done a lot of damage to a lot of people.

AyeUpMeDuck · 07/06/2022 13:00

Reported for being a bum head.
You bum head...

😂🤪

SlashBeef · 07/06/2022 13:01

I'm not bothered by the joke but in light of current affairs and the fact so many have suffered from his decisions, I think this was unkind.
