What do the royals talk about?

swedex · 06/06/2022 18:06

Just thinking about the royals all spending this weekend together and thinking what do they talk about 😂

When normal folk get together with family it's usually just catching up and talking about random stuff, jobs etc but what do you think the royals catch up on?! What do you think Kate and Zara chat about? Or Edward and mike tindall? Can't imagine it's about how much housework they've got to do or getting the bathroom updated or how terrible their jobs going!
What do you think?!

Horses.

XenoBitch · 06/06/2022 18:09

I like to think they meet up and share the bonkers youtube videos they might have seen.

What a bizarre question.

Life, the universe and everything I imagine.

I think it's a great question, and I'd love to know. Maybe the weather 😁

Pedallleur · 06/06/2022 18:16

Horses, dogs, the nonce, how the shares, rents, investments are doing. Thank God it's Boris and not Corbyn

godmum56 · 06/06/2022 18:19

why would it not be the good and bad of their jobs? and no they won't be renovating bathrooms themselves but like everyone else, they will redecorate, change the children's rooms as they grow up, compare diaries and so on

RoseAndRose · 06/06/2022 18:20

Dogs and horses, mainly

Or snap chat filters of each other 😂

Nothing wrong with talking about horses, dogs, kids...

I doubt they chat about their dinner the previous evening...

"That swan was definitely over-cooked...the heron was very bony"
😂

Don't think it's anymore bizarre than half the other questions on here! If you don't like it you don't have to reply! Just keep scrolling

I like your question. I would like the family WhatsApp to be leaked so we can all read it!

SausageinaBun · 06/06/2022 18:30

In public they probably have to be careful as there are tabloid lip readers to share it with the world.

It must make telling their kids off much harder too.

ApolloandDaphne · 06/06/2022 18:35

The men probably talk a lot about sport, just like many average men. The women too I guess, they seem to like sport too. Maybe they talk about the children, schools, clothes, aging relatives, current affairs, books they have read etc. probably fairly mundane stuff.

CPL593H · 06/06/2022 18:43

How they can decisively and finally rid themselves of the Plantagenet claim, when 99% of the English are descended from Edward III?

Horses, at a guess. Grin

eddiemairswife · 06/06/2022 18:43

Usual family stuff I suppose, like we all do. How the children are doing at school, where they might go on holiday, how dreadful the Prime Minister is.

waltzingparrot · 06/06/2022 18:52

All the crap the press has made up about them in the previous week.

JaneJeffer · 06/06/2022 18:58

How sore their feet are
Eastenders
How to avoid people they don't want to speak to

Great question OP, I have wondered the same thing this weekend! But it's probably the usual mundane stuff- jobs, kids, etc.

Gettingthereslowly2020 · 06/06/2022 19:20

Sport, events they've attended, what they've been watching on Netflix, family, dogs, horses, slagging off the media/journalists they don't like.

I’d love to be a fly on the wall if they were ever discussing some of the sights in that parade yesterday.

Pedallleur · 06/06/2022 19:22

Maybe watch that naice Lucy Worsley talking about the ancestors and think about getting her round to write the family history.

daisydalrymple · 06/06/2022 19:26

I would imagine the conversation would be quite different if e.g Mike Tindall was leading it with the younger crowd, compared to say Prince Charles and the Kents / Gloucesters 😂

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 06/06/2022 19:27

Mumsnet threads probably.

In reality? No different to any one else. Family, kids, work, animals and world events.

But JaneJeffer? Sore feet would be well up there! ☺️
