dealing with jobcentre whilst on esa and pip

last year i was put on esa because i have anxiety this was in November. In January i was awarded pip for the same condition

at first the jobcentre seemed ok but over the last couple of months it seems like theres been an attitude from them by giving me appointments every three weeks instead of every three months which i had been told by a couple of theyre staff should be the case

Today i had an appointment and the member of staff i got was pretty aggressive the type where she asked questions i was only allowed to give a brief answer then shed cut me off. I then tried to ask why they changed my appoinyments from every three months to every three weeks initially she wouldnt answer but then claimed it was to support me and make sure i was getting all the help and support i needed even though ive previously kept them up to date with what im doing to manage my anxietty issue at previous appointments and on my journal.

she wanted me to speak to somebody in at the jobcentre about my anxiety and i refused as i spoke to this person a few years ago due to a diffcuilt situation i was in and the member of staff made it clear she didnt believe what i had told her by her attitude.

ive already told the jobcentre previously im dealing with a mental health organisation for anxiety and this was brought up again today she asked me what i did with them i told her i was then told that my esa stops in november and i was made to feel like i was on the skive and to enjoy it while it lasts

i really dont know how to deal with them as i feel myself reacting when they treat me like that then i regret it afterwards as i know thats playing into theyre hands and ill be accused of being aggressive but i believed if y ou were

Have you had your work capability assessment on ESA ? once you ahve had that and if awarded support group then you should not need to go to appointments at all . Or have you been assessed and put in WRAG group?

im in the work related activity group and until now theyve been ok with me as long as im seeing somebody about my anxiety which i have been then jobcentre have accepted that but for some reason over the last couple of months they seem to have changed tactics its almost as if theyre saying they dont believe my condiiton is genuine and im just skiving

I know a few people in the WRAG group (and if you are still having to go to JC appointments then it sounds like that is the group you are in)
It seems to be mixed bag as to how often they are asked to attend appointments. I have one friend who goes twice a year, and another who goes monthly. It makes no sense to me.
Can you ask to change work coach anyway? They should be supporting you, and not making you feel like shit.

today she did give me an appointment for september but thats when i got more attitude got told my esa ended in november and it was almost like she was saying enjoy it while it lasts even though thats not her decision if my anxiety is bad ill continue to claim it while it lasts i dont understand that mentally where somebody says right this is november you supposed to feel better now get a job

Your work coach has no right to comment on your health. They are not medically trained (and ironically, most are claiming benefits themselves as the role is shit pay).

Once it ends in November you will need to claim Uc instead unless you are going to report a worsening of condition and wait to be re-assessed.
