Period pants recommendations

I have a funeral in just under two weeks and I feel my period is about to start. I say period, I have very heavy bleeding for approx 3 weeks a month due to fibroids and polyps and am on a waiting list for a hysterectomy. I really do not want to miss the funeral and am worried if I am in a very heavy day so thought a pair or two of period pants might be worth trying along with some heavy flow sanitary towels. Can anyone recommend some to me that work and aren't too expensive. I would only be wearing them for this day, maybe longer of the hysterectomy doesn't happen before we go away for a week later in the year, where I would get some more.

If its not for long use you'd probably be best getting primark period pants- I've heard they are pretty good.

I use Thinx myself but they aren't cheap and I see them more as an investment for long term use.

Sadly no Primark near me, but I'll have a look on eBay and see if there are any on there though. Thank you for the suggestion

Modibodi

Totally reliable, comfortable, long-lasting.
Everyone in our house now uses them - either completely on their own ( my daughters) or with a menstrual cup (me).

Definitely buy a pair of modobodi (heavy flow). They should keep you going all day. Then you can rinse them, chuck them in the wash, hang them to dry and wear em again
