Pain in intestines

Hi
It started with an allergic reaction to a medication doctor doubled the dose. First felt sick but not sick, hives rash. These symptoms have gone.
I'm now left with exhaustion and feels like trapped wind. For 2 days I haven't been to the toilet only pee regularly.
I have been in bed for 15 days today.
Pain in intestines helps when using a hot water bottle. I've tried windeze that was good but not got rid of it completely. Should I try a laxative.Thank you you in advance if anyone can help.

If you haven’t opened your bowels for 2 days, but would normally go every day, then a laxative would probably be a good idea so you don’t end up too blocked up.

In the meantime,if you have peppermint tea that can help.

Even if you've no peppermint tea in, try a cup of water as piping hot as you can bear. Small, frequent sips.

I have IBS and will try anything available but the hot water always has at least some good effect.

If you've an understanding partner/child, ask them to "hard massage" your mid-lower back. (A fast "karate-chop" method)
Again, I'm the absence of better cures, it does relieve some of the trapped wind.
Hope you get some relief soon.
