Anyone have any experience on how to get rid?
It was peirced 4 weeks ago. Initially I thought it was infected so I went to the pericing shop and they told me to use surgical spirt which I've been using for a week and the redness has gone and def no infection but there is a lump. It looks like a bloody/tissue lump. Not sure why to do about it as it's not improving!
I've heard to use hemeroid cream on it 🤷🏼‍♀️
Anyone have any advise or experience?

Stay away from the surgical spirits, too harsh.

I had a piercing bump on one of my helix piercings and as others have said warm salt water soaks healed it. I use maldon salt which is what my piercer recommends.

Do you have yellow discharge. It’s lymph drainage. You need to trick the skin into healing.

Aspirin - make a paste by crushing tablet and adding cooled boiled water. 4 days on -apply at night. Then 4 days off. Repeat as necessary.

Prontonlind cleaning spray twice a week.

nothing else!

mine was looking awful. The aspirin worked quickly.

No discharge anymore thankfully! Just the morning after I invoked it out. It's hard to explain. But where the lump is it keeps scabbing over so I think it must be a bit weepy but clear!

I've read online about this as prime paste thing.... maybe I need to give it a try!

Not impressed with the surgical spirit advice from piercer!

Ahhh what makes you say this?

Surgical spirits are too strong and inhibit healing. Just use salt water twice a day, some crusting is normal and part of the healing process - don't pick at it.
If a tube forms (a granuloma), you can flatten it with very clean fingers, then fit the silicon discs.
Its not recommended that you remove the piercing, even if it gets infected. The post will keep the piercing open and help it drain. If it does become infected see your GP, pharmacist or practice nurse and ask for dry iodine.

Try kelo-cote scar gel,it's about £16.00 on line or superdrug sell it.I had my tragus done and developed a fleshy ,weeping lump ,tried all the other stuff but this is the only thing that worked. You only need a tiny bit, put it on twice a day ,it made the lump go hard and it actually just fell off!
It came back after the hairdresser caught it but not as bad,I reapplied for about a week and it's now gone.Has been fine for a while.
I actually nearly took mine out because it looked awful and was so sore but I really didn't want to and I'd tried everything else until I spotted this cream.

Thank you all!
So I'm not sure what happened but it seems to have miraculously healed!
The fleshy bit just came off when I was cleaning the peircing and now it looks so much better!
Not sure what I did or what it was but I hope it doesn't come back 🙈
