Any ideas. Fed up of supermarket and Argos, that don’t last and would rather pay out for something more substantial.

Assuming you mean festoon lights I got some good ones from Lighting Legends last year. They take E27 bulbs which are replaceable and interchangeable, and we have a coloured set for Christmas and white for the summer.

Thanks, I’ll take a look.

My all time favourites are from

https://www.lights4fun.co.uk

You might recognise many of the lights available from this site being sold at much higher prices in top end retailers.

Seconding lights4fun. Bought our wedding festoon lights there which are now up in our garden all year. I like to switch them on in winter to bring in the washing I’ve forgotten 🙈

I had awful cheap battery festoons from Lights4fun. I discounted them when I was looking for heavy-duty mains powered lights as none of theirs had replaceable bulbs that I could see.

I got mine from TLC when I was looking for ones with removal bulbs. They look great, I went for clear golf ball bulbs.
