MASH- i had a friend who worked on a&e in the 1990’s. Apparently the poisons unit they used to ring for treatment advice had the Mash theme tune (suicide is painless) as their hold music.

some thought it hilarious, some inappropriate, and to others it was the typical dark humour medics often have.

don’t know how true it was though.
