We're flying Dublin to San Francisco in July and my DH has requested that I ask you if you know the following
A) will we get fed?
B) will we get fed more than once?
C) is the food good?
D) will snacks/drinks be free?

Any help will save me a lot of questions between now and then!
Before someone hops on, I've already tried Google 😉

It depends what ticket you have paid for

I was on Dublin to Toronto a few weeks ago, you get a hot evening meal (I assume it's the red eye to SFO) then a small snack, like a muffin and tea and coffee usually about 1.5 hours before landing. Food is pretty average plane food and it's a full bar, although not many took part (a little different to the 1980's when it was a proper party in the back with all the people coming down to the smoking section!). On the way back it's likely to be a hot breakfast or lunch then a small snack just before landing. If you need a veggie meal or halal/kosher you can go to the website, click on travel information and "dietary needs" and you can put your flight booking ref in and they will make sure something is on the plane for you - hope it helps have a lovely trip!

It's derailed here.
Fairly standard stuff on AerLingus but I do love flying with them. Especially when you get to clear US customs and visas etc in Ireland.

From their website

My memory is that the food is good. Soft drinks, teas/coffees are complimentary.

Thank you all. That page wouldn't load for me when I tried!
We're code-sharing with BA so finding it almost impossible to book different meals etc but luckily, we don't really need to.
Very excited about doing immigration at Dublin and then sailing through the San Fran!
