title says it all really.
do hospitals have any jobs (eg portering) for 16 year olds between GCSE and A level start? Perhaps continuing with a Sunday shift next year?

I recall my brother doing this many years ago but times will have changed.

i doubt they would want casual workers they would need to do dbs etc which takes time and money so unlikely for something like that

16 would be far too young to be a porter.

Our porters and cleaners deal with some of the worst parts of hospital life and get the worst pay.

Thank you

Pretty sure they only hire over 18s now, which is a bit of a shame. The hospital I work at is crying out for porters, including radiology which is pretty cushy as postering jobs go.

By the time he'd have completed his mandatory training it would be time to leave!
