I am working till 1pm, so the DC are going round my mum. She is also dog sitting, so they are taking the dog for a walk.

Then back home for another lazy afternoon. Were supposed to be going swimming, but DS2 was sick last night so will cancel 😞

Feeling rather guilty this week. Hearing/seeing stories all round of people doing lots & we are not! Ds2 was also sick on Sunday so we cancelled those plans. On Monday he seemed fine but stayed home anyway. Then yesterday we went to a theme park where he was fine. I can't work out if it's a bug or what! But all around seeing pictures of people's holidays 😬

Hope you all have good days

We're at the in-laws for a big Jubilee garden party tomorrow. I've got the day off work so I'm helping with last minute prep. DD is going with MiL to get their nails done this morning. Will walk dogs, have a bath and then be on party prep duty!

Work then gym… then relax!

Sleepover last night here for my 11 year old and his friend, so we're all tired! Taking them to a cat cafe later while the oldest goes fishing with his friend. Otherwise a quiet day today. Will watch Stranger Things later with the 14 year old.

We are mid GCSEs here for DD though a break this week and she is having new flooring put in at 9am so currently clearing her room of furniture with DH.

I did chemo on Monday so not up to much. But am looking after Maine coon kitten.

DH and DS are going to dentist at 3.30pm.

Food shop in a minute, youngest wants to go to a new games cafe (can't think of anything worse) so dragging the 2 teens out too so they can also enjoy the crapness and won't lay in bed all day!

I need some new clothes due to being very fat so will hopefully get a couple of summer bits in town. Sadly the teens hate shopping so I anticipate it being stressful!

Then back to a shit ton of washing from the weekends camping we had. 😩

This evening I need to do marking and prepping and plan a tutoring session for my return to work Monday. I refuse to work on the bank holidays so might be a late one!

We're keeping it low key this week. Had a friend round yesterday, they had a day with grandparents on Monday so I could work.
Today we are going on a dog walk with my sister and her dog.
Mine are only 3.5 and 7 and really struggled with the last half term of school just tiredness wise. Lots of tears and meltdowns in the last few weeks. I figured as low key a week as I can to get them through the last 7 weeks of this year with my sanity intact!

Off to an inflatable aqua park thing later with the teenagers. That’s about the most exciting thing that’s happening this week.

Dd1 has a driving lesson this morning. this isn’t going to be the most exciting half term they’ve ever had!

No kids here but I’m off work so it’s rock n roll Wednesday of a trip to the tip, supermarket and then the gym! Family arriving later for the long weekend.
