Anyone travelled out of Luton over half term?

How was it. We have a big family trip booked for July, with daughter who was autism and ADHD. Dreading the airport. Anyone know if fast track is worth it?

No one got time to answer whilst sipping cocktails around the pool?

My mum did. No problems at all. No delays

Yeah! Have other family members travelling via Dublin which is a total shit show, but haven't heard any Luton nightmares so far.

I would pay for fast track if your child gets overwhelmed by lots of people\noise. It was quite busy but not too bad for queue's.

Yep, going to do that today. Might think about a sunflower lanyard. She is generally good as gold but unpredictable. She kicked off massively on one flight because on landing she had to be buckled in and was too small to see out the window. Cue massive meltdown. That was fun.

Register in advance with the airline for special assistance and get a sunflower lanyard. We travel SA at Luton regularly and you jump the queue and wait in a quiet area before they escort you to the plane.

Ooohh thanks for that. That is exactly what we need. My stress level has just gone down several notches

Yes. Even though we had already checked in the queue for the bag drop was enormous. There was a boy with additional needs in the queue in a family group who was clearly getting quite stressed, and I don't know if they had pre arranged it or not, but they were able to go to the front quite quickly.

So it's definitely doable and worth getting it sorted.

Hope that you have a lovely time!
