London To See Jubilee Decorations

If you know London where would you suggest going to see decorations have a nice day out with a 14-year-old and anywhere you would suggest for a quirky/fun lunch? thanks

Hi, we went today. I would walk up to Buckingham Palace via The mall from Trafalgar Square. Wonderful with all the flags.

Following as I'm taking my kids up tomorrow.
We are also walking along SouthBank as there's lots going on there apparently.

I believe there is a Corgi trail.

Regent Street, The Mall, anywhere around Piccadilly towards Buckingham Palace really.
