1st passport - application approved- how long is the wait

Hi all

We're going on holiday in 2 weeks 🥴 & been waiting forever for our little ones passport. We applied in April

We just received a text saying his application has been approved.. has anyone got any idea how long it will take for the passport to arrive?

I still have hope 😂😅

Once it's approved it's usually printed and sent within a couple of days. I had a lot of experience tracking passports this year and once you get that text then the passport arrives shortly after.

To be fair you've not waited forever. The estimated turnaround is 10 weeks. You're lucky if you get it sooner.

I apologise for my exaggeration. It feels like forever but you're right it's not

Admittedly, DD had applied for a replacement as she'd lost her passport, but she received her passport 3 days after it was approved - obviously posted immediately as she's in Europe.
