Hi - is anyone else recently been trying to phone the passport office via their 0333 number?
My ds is going away in 3 weeks and his passport has been 'being processed' for over a month.
I started trying to phone the passport number today - tried over 20 times and got the same message "this service is closed"
I don't know if that's because their lines are busy or that they've just taken the phone line out of service....
Has anyone else tried phoning, had this message and then got through?!
