Mine always end up slightly bland! What is your go-to one please?

Thanks

Goats cheese, roasted red onion, antipasto peppers, sun-dried tomatoes, toasted pine nuts, pepperdew peppers on a bed of rocket. Chop up all the ingredients and toss with the pasta.

A really simple Nigella one. Sunblush tomatoes in olive oil, and lots of salt, with some mozzarella thrown in too. Simple and tasty

They both sound delicious, thank you!

I cook pasta, fry bacon, add sweetcorn, spring onions and celery (or veg of your choice)
chuck in leftover chicken and leave to cool in the fridge
mix in mayo or salad dressing and enjoy

Spread bacon on a bacon tray and bake until brittle enough to be crumbled. Take cooked pasta of choice and add quarter cherry tomatoes, finely chopped red onion, celery, parsley and pickled gherkins (you can leave the gherkins out if their not your thing but in my opinion they're great). Make a honey and mustard dressing with white wine vinegar, oil, whole grain mustard and honey. Crumble the bacon and mix with the pasta and veg, then add the dressing. (Use the dressing sparingly, it's must moist not wet). Crumble some Stilton and add to the mix. Then gently toss.

Mine from student days, pasta, tuna, salad cream, mayo and sweetcorn - bloody lovely . I'm going to make some this week.

Xiaoxiong · 01/06/2022 11:12

Three from Alison Roman - I can't decide which I like most, they're all amazing:

a tomatoey one

lovely and springy with peas and parmesan

with courgettes and walnuts (and parmesan!) - more veg than pasta

Italian version of tuna pasta: tuna, capers, green olives, 1-2 lemons squeezed, oregano, cherry tomatoes quartered. No mayo! No corn!!

mozarella, tomatoes, basil lots of olive oil in both

good pasta cooked al dente.

Primprom · 01/06/2022 11:30

oh and a bit of garlic in both, grated

Another one: smoked salmon, rocket, olive oil, salt. Thats it. It is absolutely beautiful.
