9 year old toe walking, worried about casting

We are seeing an orthopaedic dr tomorrow but I'm worried they are going to say he has to have casts on his legs to correct his toe walking. He wets the bed every night and most nights his duvet, pillow and sheet are soaked as well. I can't think how he could have casts when this is happening. Will they be able to do something different to help him or are we stuck?

You need to get to the bottom of the wetting first. Wetting the sheets, realms of normal, anything else, not so. He can't be swayed if he's that incompetent, it will be wet, smelly, itchy and will collapse.

Thankyou. Orthopaedic dr says he needs casts so we have 2 months to sort the bedwetting first. GP has agreed to prescribe desmopressin so hopefully that will do the trick.
