How long did it take for you to get your nhs covid pass app validated

Dh already had downloaded the app ages ago so he thought he had it all sorted

but now he’s just checked it all in order you now have to validate it
he wasn’t aware of any changes and it says it can take upto 7 days

so just wondering if you’ve done this
how long did it actually take
