Can I negotiate salary as a junior?

I’m in a junior grad role, up north. I have 2 years of industry experience.

Recently applied for the same role with a company based in London. It’s not their graduate scheme so doesn’t have a set salary. I have been asked for my current salary as well as my salary expectations.

Typically, if I were applying for a similar job outside of London I would just put my current salary for salary expectations as I’m not experienced/desirable enough to negotiate a higher salary. Seems to be a lot of competition for junior grad roles in my industry too.

As this job would require me to relocate to London if successful - would it be acceptable to put down a higher salary for my salary expectations (I.e., 4K higher than what I currently earn). Just thinking along the lines that London has much higher living costs, but I don’t know whether it’s unreasonable for a junior to negotiate salary
