Anyone else had a strange child benefit payment?

I've got 2 kids, both eligible for child benefit, and I've been getting £140.60 every 4 weeks.

The last payment at the beginning of May was £145, presumably a standard annual rise. I'd be expecting the next one tomorrow.
Then today I've had a random £36.25 child benefit put into my account.
Is this a bonus extra? Or a massive reduction?
Anyone got any idea what this is about, before I embark on trying to contact them?

Yes there are other threads on this. It's the same amount just oddly paid this week and is on gov.uk.

Yea, they are paying 1 weeks cb before the next 3 week payment in your due day. It's something to do with the extra bank holidays.

Apparently it is to do with the bank hols.

You have been given one week's payment early, and if you are normally paid 4 weekly tomorrow, you will get 3 weeks' worth tomorrow. So last week's isn't extra, it is a bit of an advance .

We had a similar random payment - normally get £80-odd, got £20. Nothing about our income has changed. Watching with interest.

£36.25 x 4 is £145.00. So it's got to be a weeks worth.
