Can anyone recommend a new wetsuit

I am 5’3” and a size 18 and I’m looking for a new wetsuit. Ideally I want a full length but it could be a shorty or two piece.

I’ve been pleased with TwoBareFeet ones for other members of the family but the dimensions in their womens range just don’t match me at all.

im looking for something reasonably priced to take DD body boarding at uk coast so nothing amazingly technical is needed.

does anyone have something they could recommend?

I was about to recommend Two Bare Feet. Prior to that we had the Sainsburys ones but they broke after a couple of years wear.

My kids have CSkins which are very good, but not the cheapest in adult sizes I don’t think.

Try O’Neill. I think they only go up to size 16, like most brands (why???) but it will depend on how your weight is distributed, I find them the most generous fitting.

Other than that I think Mountain Warehouse goes past a size 16 and is reasonably priced. Looked after well it should last. For rips and tears you can buy wetsuit glue.

Thanks. I can find options which do more generous sizes but I am finding the bigger the size the longer in arm and leg. whereas I am really quite short in both

This is quite a specific problem, isn't it? We rate Gul winter wetsuits (5+3mm) very highly in this house. But the sizing is pretty weird. I am usually a size 8, but my wetsuit is a size 12. But I just looked at the sizing chart and it seems that they expect you to be much taller if you are a bigger size, which could be true, but isn't a given.

I’ve been struggling to find wetsuits that fit for nearly thirty years. Of course when I was younger the didn’t even make women specific ones. The mens ones were a joke w he I was a teen. There still seems to be an idea that only people of athletic build wear wetsuits I think. I wish they would realise that not all water sports enthusiasts are talk or tiny.

I think I might just have to go for another shortie. But I was hoping given the big increase of options on the market one manufacturer might consider filling this niche.

A plus size instagrammer I follow has recommended a company called lomo.

I was also going to suggest lomo Selene or Aurora in a medium wide B fitting. It depends how thick you want it.

Actually an A might fit but I don’t find they have a lot of boob room! If you’re busty I’d go B.

lomo. Brilliant. Just what I was looking for thank you
