Photos all backed up on Cloud but I need to free up some space so deleting photos on phone.
Came across some genealogy I did a few years ago, a screenshot I’d taken showing where a relative I have some fond memories of lived in the 1940s, in New York City ( from the US census) Out of curiosity I googled the address and there was a whole walk around her apartment, every room photographed as it was to let. Not as it was in the 1940s but where she’d lived as a young woman with her husband.
Pre internet I’d not even had known which area of NYC she lived in and I now know the name of the ship she and her husband arrived on and the date they went through immigration at Ellis Island. And I can see her kitchen and the view she had from her living room.
