Anyone else ill? Horrid summer cough and cold.

After a pretty good innings health wise, I've developed a horrid cough and cold (negative LFT)

Thankfully no major plans but God I feel horrid. Even took myself for an afternoon nap.

Anyone else? Misery loves company and all that.

Had it last week, was awful and still feel a bit rough in the evenings now. But it did move fairly swiftly for me

DS had almost a week off school with a stinking cough and cold, plus horrible tonsils.

I had it a couple of weeks ago, and ended up having the week off work (I’m a massage therapist so I can’t really be breathing germs all over my clients, quite apart from the challenge of it being a physical job). Most annoying as I’m self-employed. I felt appalling though so there was nothing else for it but to rest. Hope you feel better soon op!

Caught it off my friend who had it way worse than me - I don't feel great but I seem to have escaped lightly compared to some!

We have this. Barely coughed with covid but I've hurt my ribs from it and DS1 has been sick. DH has the tonsils, DS2 has had the stomach ache. And so much snot.

DD2 has Covid. Her current symptoms are temperature, shakes, sore throat, tiredness, she's coughing a little.

An adult I know that has it has all the Covid symptoms plus d&v. Another adult from the same place had same symptoms but negative LFT.

And I've got bout 2 of tonsillitis
Woke up this morning, throat full of gunk again. Back on antibiotics but a different type this time...

I've had this since Friday and haven't felt so poorly in a long time. Came on here to see if there's a thread about it! Testing every day and all negative so far.

Mine started with a sore throat, then awful blocked nose and thumping sinus headaches, then runny nose, coughing and sneezing. Through it all a general feeling of nausea and incredibly tired. On day 5 now and 'just' have a pounding headache and feeling a bit queasy.

My dh had this last wednesday it started completely knocked him off his feet.Then on saturday afternoon I had it and our dd on sunday we are all miserable and properly ill. Its awful.Best wishes to everyone and hope we all have a speedy recovery.
