What's your favourite biscuit? I'm torn between chocolate digestives and ginger nuts.

I'll have to go top 3 and say bourbons, jaffa cakes and dark chocolate digestives.

saraclara · 29/05/2022 12:01

I've been through all the fancy ones, but the ones I have no self control about are still Maryland cookies.

ElenaSt · 29/05/2022 12:07

Dark chocolate digestives or shortbread with chocolate chips.

Rich Tea or Nice.

But I'm struggling to think of one I don't like

Willdoitlater · 29/05/2022 12:19

Lemon puffs and those bright pink wafers. Haven't had either for years, now can't stop thinking about them. You are evil OP.

Magpiecomplex · 29/05/2022 12:20

@OnlyLosersTakeTheBus has given the definitive answer

Luredbyapomegranate · 29/05/2022 12:21

Shortbread

Other than being delicious it’s so versatile.. add a latte and it’s breakfast, add a banana and it’s a solid snack, and any fool/posset type thing and it’s a posh pudding

Jammy dodgers, really cheap custard creams and my new fave Sainsbury's own brand choc chip digestive.

notprincehamlet · 29/05/2022 12:22

Dark chocolate digestive - biscuit of the gods

TheLadyDIdGood · 29/05/2022 12:23

To dunk in my tea it has to be McVities Rich tea.
My favourite posh biscuit is Fortnum & Mason Chocolate & Macadamia Nut biscuits
Then number 3 is a double chocolate and nut giant cookie from Lidl.

balalake · 29/05/2022 12:26

Jaffa Cakes.

BestIsWest · 29/05/2022 12:31

Ginger nuts.
Always and Forever.

2nd place goes to M&S dark chocolate ginger biscuits.
3rd to Fox’s golden crunch creams.

sweetgrapes · 29/05/2022 12:31

Gingers nuts for dunking in lemon tea
Rich tea with my regular cuppa
Dark chocolate digestives when I need a pick me up
Jaffa cakes and Oreos if I can get some off the kids

Is there such a thing as a bad biscuit??

Viennese Whirls, 💕 lovely with a cup of hot chocolate.
Belgian Curls, 💕 delicious with ice cream or a dish of soft fruit.

Special mention for my Mother's favourite, Fig Rolls.

topshotta · 29/05/2022 12:45

those lotus biscoff ones😍

mnahmnah · 29/05/2022 12:48

Don’t make me do this. It’s too hard!!

Also - don’t start the Jaffa Cake debate 😆

mnahmnah · 29/05/2022 12:50

These are amazing though…

Ordinary biscuit, rich shortie or hobnob. Special biscuit, dark chocolate digestive or ginger crunch cream.

bluechameleon · 29/05/2022 13:28

But I forgot the very best biscuit of all - borders chocolate oat flips. Completely irresistible.

Justcannot · 29/05/2022 13:30

@Forestcantrun I agree, the cheaper the better for custard creams.

OvaryActions · 29/05/2022 13:34

Scottish shortbread. Nothing else compares!!

MrsDThomas · 29/05/2022 13:36

Oh gotta be fig rolls

and they HAVE to be Bolands.
