You have to pick ONE of the TWO...

I am going to have to go for adidas as I’ve just bought a load of t-shirts for Ds1 (14yo) in sports direct (cheap) and the fit on the adidas ones is better for him. And now I know that, I can re-purchase and not have to think about returns and refund policies.

Reebok were quite a serious brand back in the day but they’ve targeted the leisure market in more recent years.

nike and adidas are popular with both sporty and non sporty people

That could be something to do with Adidas owning them, using Adidas to concentrate on the serious sports wear and Reebok to capture the fashion market.

It’s odd. Both are huge multinational corporations with questionable records about the treatment of workers in their their supply chains etc etc, so I should dislike both equally. But…

I’m Team Adidas. Three stripes on my shirt. Always have been, always will be. It’s the lingering retro Euro Cool image from their 70s products, eg Stan Smith tennis shoes, Beckenbauer & Samba trainers. It’s a heritage Nike can never begin to compete with, and they are also just way too American.

Adidas

Kittykatmacbill · 27/05/2022 20:15

Nike. I don’t really like adidas for sports wear, but I love nike. I generally prefer adidas for ambling about shoes (superstars generally) but I could go back to airforce ones.

My Ad-I-das forever.

FlibbertyGibbitt · 27/05/2022 20:17

Adidas Ultraboost. Like wearing slippers!

Anjelika · 27/05/2022 20:17

This is really hard one for me. I spend a lot of time in gym gear - WFH 3 days a week and always work out on those days - and I like both! I'm sat here in an Adidas t-shirt with a Nike long sleeved running top over. Think I'd go for Nike on balance as I have a really comfy hoodie I bought which fits better than my Adidas and Puma ones.

nike for trainers, adidas for clothing, reebok for retro clothing and my one beloved pair of reebok classics for the tackiness of them

BiscoffSundae · 27/05/2022 20:25

Nike

Nike - better fit for me in trainers and seems better quality overall.

MrsJBaptiste · 27/05/2022 22:28
