Not particularly gravelly voice but think it's a male vocalist in a band

Not slow but not super fast. Pop song I'd say soft rock at most, bit house/dance y (showing my age!!)

Band, male vocalist I may have the lyrics wrong (how many threads on that!)

Chorus feels really "catchy" but overall a sort of Indy feel, chorus faster than verses but not massively so, toe tapper pretty sure released in last decade

Breezeblocks vocalist sounds similar ish (others may not agree when we figure it out!)

First note is lowest, then a bit higher then a bit higher then 2 the same and then a bit higher again then back to lowest then 5 syllables at same note as lowest note

And the first one is higher then a lower note and lower again but the first oh is still quite a low note? This is driving me nuts not being able to explain it well

It may not be "wild" it might be right or rise or wise or something like that this is driving me crazy!

The only song I got from it was "someone that I used to know" which has none of those lyrics 😀

Is it The Futureheads cover of Hounds Of Love? That's got a lot of oh oh ohs in it!

@BellaTheDarkOverlord weirdly that’s the song that popped into my head when I read OPs initial description. Gotye, Somebody That I Used to Know. None of those words in the lyrics though!

I wonder if it's a Foals song based on description of how the singer sounds?

My first thought was Newton Fawlkner Dream Catch Me but the lyrics are not right:
