Am I the only one that didn't know this?

So, I've just had a shower and gave my belly button a good clean out.

When I cleaned right inside it I got the weirdest sensation like I needed a wee. After Googling it turns out it's a thing that our bodies do due to it being connected to the spinal cord or something!

I didn't know either.

Ooh yes I get that feeling.

Mine must be disconnected because I didn't get that feeling?!

It felt so weird I've never noticed it before!

I didn't know this. Wish I knew before they used my belly button as an entrance point for keyhole surgery - now I'll never know if it use to work on me or not!

Not your spinal cord but your urachal remnant.

In the FitOn Pilates app one of the instructors tells you to pull your belly button into your spine, which helps form ab muscles. I'm trying to do it all the time now 😂

Yep, my partner and I are always sticking our fingers in each other's belly buttons to try and make the other wee themselves. Laugh a minute in my house 😀
