Best careers to retrain in that I can work from home / self employed

Honestly, that title is so clunky - but I’m trying to figure out what I should retrain in that would set me up to be able to work from home predominantly, and possibly in a self employed manner rather than being employed.

i have background in admin and sales so transferable skills there. I’m interested in HR and possibly some form of accountancy (I did some credit control for a while)

If you are self employed / work from home, what do you do? I have the time and some finance to throw at this so don’t want to waste the opportunity!

Do a book keeping course. Very easy to do from home and can set yourself up as self employed if you want.

Or up your admin skills and set up as a virtual assistant.

Some kind of finance/accounting analyst role. I recently turned down a working from home role doing that. Do an excel course to top up your skills.
