What are the pigeons doing?

We get a lot of pigeon visitors but lately I've noticed they just seem to be sitting around in little groups for hours on end. A group on the garage roof, a couple of pairs on the fence and an odd one in the bird bath. There's nothing wrong with them as they fly off when we go outside. Then they quickly reassemble when we go back inside.

It's a tiny bit creepy , like they're planning something 👀

The pigeons round here sit on the TV aerial on the roof and shout down the chimney. Sometimes there are more growly noises accompanied by metallic dinging noises indicating there’s a dust up of some sort going on.

@nearlyspringyay the parakeets are all outside my window - all of them. All 33 billion.
Beautiful but I have been known to yell "shut the f up" at them on many occasions 😂
I don't get many wood pigeons. Just manky city ones who usually have a cigarette butt hanging out their mouth.

Pigeons are evil prehistoric mini dinosaurs. And if they get inside a loft space you will have the devil of a job to evict them .And you will hate them for ever afterwards .

Just saying .

I currently have one nesting above my front door in the rose bush!
I got very drunk a few years ago when out with my late partner. He was manhandling me back to the hotel along the seafront and I told him I hated sigeons and peagulls.. He said "what did you say?" I then said I hated pigeons and seagulls and he laughed and said he preferred the first version!
At his funeral my very brave son who is deaf and autistic gave the eulogy... We had to have several rewrites before we could use it as he kept saying Mumma was drunk... The funeral was in the Baptist Church and I had to explain that the Baptists don't drink..!
