Recommend me a gas bbq under £200

I'm a single mum to three kids ages 12, 9 & 6 (two of whom are boys who would eat their own body weight in bbq food). I would like to get a gas bbq as I really can't be bothered with lighting a charcoal one everytime it is sunny and we fancy some burgers.

I really have no idea what to look for in a bbq though. I have a budget of upto £200. I don't even know what size I need, would 2 burners be enough or should I be looking at a 3 or 4 burner model instead?

Can anyone recommend one to me?

Thanks 🙂

Think bbq gas is in short supply at the mo, so you might be best sticking to charcoal. But I may have that wrong!

Thanks, I had no idea. I will Definitely look into it more before buying one then.

We have a slightly older version of this and it’s great. We like gas because our garden is very overlooked so we didn’t want to worry about smoke in neighbours windows/washing etc. I buy the gas at Homebase and the only time we struggled to buy any was in proper lockdown. I buy the smaller bottles and once you have the bottle it’s £35 a time to replace it and that will last us a fair few BBQs.

Thanks, this one looks good. Would you say that is the right size to cook for an adult and 3 kids or could I get away with a 2 or 3 burner bbq instead?

I’ve got a Weber one which is over your budget but I’ve been impressed by the Aldi appliances I’ve bought (power washer, patio heater).

Look at this one, dual fuel.

Two year warranties!

I like the look of that one, thanks.

I think I'm going to go for the argos ones, it seems a really good price 🙂

I bought one from very.co.uk about 3 weeks ago for £85. Not a bad little bbq at all, and haven’t had any issues getting gas.

I love a charcoal bbq but I live in a tiny terraced house so having one would just be completely unsocial, as my neighbours so aptly demonstrated at the weekend.
