Samsung phone upgrade - which 'S' to choose??

I currently have a Galaxy S10, which I love... except the battery is now behaving very badly. It's a work phone, and they will upgrade me to whatever I want (!)

I want to stick with Samsung/Galaxy, because I've been very happy with it and have no reason to change (I might consider another Android, but would need to have a very good reason to do so).

I'm looking at the S20/S21/S22 - if anyone has any thoughts on which of these would be best, I'd love to hear them! They are all the same size, which is important to me - I don't want to go any bigger, for various reasons. I don't use it to watch stuff on, but do like a good camera, and good battery performance.

Any thoughts/reviews/experience would be very handy (or any other 'must have' models - but no bigger than 150mm x 70mm)

I could go down the Apple route, but my DH has an iphone, and it's SO HEAVY relative to mine, and I don't see the benefit of switching operating systems.

Thanks in advance for any info!

I moved from the S10 to the S22 purely because it was the newest model. O2 and Samsung have subsequently given me a load of freebies worth about £500.

How do you find the battery life on the 22?
The reviews suggest that it's a step back from the 21, but I would only be comparing with the S10.

I've just upgraded my S9 to a S22. I've been doing the battery ptotect thing so it only charges to 85%. I'm also at home recovering from an operation so it's getting a lot of heavy use scrolling through mumsnet or playing games. It last me about 12 hours. "Normal" use when I'm up and about with things to do I would expect to last me until bedtime. Its the same size as my old S9. The camera is great. Got way too many cat pictures now as I'm not out and about to take pictures of anything else.
The s22 doesn't have an expandable memory so go for the 256G one if you can but it will upload everything to cloud based storage.
Also no 3.5mm headphone jack so need an adaptor or wireless headphones.

I'm enjoying having it.

I did it as a trade in through Samsung directly. Actually traded in an old A12. Took 0% finance with Samsung finance. Previously had my old s9 from sky but they wouldn't trade in anything less than an S10. It worked out cheaper with Samsung though. And I got the custom violet colour.

Oh, my S9 which was 3.5 years old would last about 6-8 hours max, even having had a new battery a year ago.

After having a few Samsungs in a row, I moved to. Google pixel 6 pro this year. I love it so much and am a total convert. The camera is amazing and the screen is lovely and big. The battery is miles better too. Very intuitive to use and an easy swap after having Samsung.

My DH wants a Pixel. But it's quite a bit bigger than the Samsungs, and that's a big no no for me.
